apigenin
Apigenin (4′,5,7-trihydroxyflavone), found in many plants, is a flavone compound that is the aglycone of several naturally occurring glycosides. It is a yellow crystalline solid that has been used to dye wool.
luteolin
Luteolin is a flavone, a type of flavonoid, with a yellow crystalline appearance.

chrysin
Chrysin, also called 5,7-dihydroxyflavone, is a flavone found in honey, propolis, the passion flowers, Passiflora caerulea and Passiflora incarnata, and in Oroxylum indicum. It is extracted from various plants, such as the blue passion flower (Passiflora caerulea). Following oral intake by humans, chrysin has low bioavailability and rapid excretion. It is under basic research to evaluate its safety and potential biological effects.
baicalein
Baicalein (5,6,7-trihydroxyflavone) is a flavone, a type of flavonoid, originally isolated from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis and Scutellaria lateriflora. It is also a constituent of Oroxylum indicum (Indian trumpetflower) and thyme. It is the aglycone of baicalin.
scutellarein
Scutellarein is a flavone that can be found in Scutellaria lateriflora and other members of the genus Scutellaria, as well as the fern Asplenium belangeri.
flavone
Flavone is an organic compound with the formula . A white solid, flavone is a derivative of chromone with a phenyl (Ph) substituent adjacent to the ether group. The compound is of little direct practical importance, but substituted derivatives, the flavones and flavonoids are a large class of nutritionally important natural products. Flavone can be prepared in the laboratory by cyclization of 2-hydroxacetophenone. Isomeric with flavone is isoflavone, where the phenyl group is adjacent to the ketone.
6-hydroxyflavone
6-Hydroxyflavone is a flavone, a type of chemical compound. It is one of the noncompetitive inhibitors of cytochrome P450 2C9. It is reported in Crocus and leaves of Barleria prionitis Linn. (a common Acanthaceae from India). 6-Hydroxyflavone shows anxiolytic activity in a mouse model. Compared to the full agonist diazepam, 6-hydroxyflavone was approximately 200 times less potent.
norartocarpetin
Norartocarpetin is a flavone. It is found in Artocarpus dadah.
amentoflavone
Amentoflavone is a biflavonoid (bis-apigenin coupled at 8 and 3 positions, or 3,8-biapigenin) constituent of a number of plants including Ginkgo biloba, Chamaecyparis obtusa (hinoki), Biophytum sensitivum, Selaginella tamariscina, Hypericum perforatum (St. John's Wort) and Xerophyta plicata.
isoscutellarein
Isoscutellarein is a flavone found in Cupuaçu (Theobroma grandiflorum) and in the liverwort Marchantia berteroana.
tricetin
Tricetin is a flavone, a type of flavonoid. It is a rare aglycone found in the pollen of members of the Myrtaceae, subfamily Leptospermoideae, such as Eucalyptus globulus. This compound shows anticancer effects on human breast adenocarcinoma MCF-7 cells. Moreover. a potent anti-inflammatory effect of tricetin has also been demonstrated in a model of acute pancreatitis. This observation was explained by the compound's radical scavenging effects, its inhibitory effect on the DNA damage sensor enzyme poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 (PARP1) and PARP1-mediated cell death and suppression of inflammat
5,7,8-trihydroxyflavone
Norwogonin, also known as 5,7,8-trihydroxyflavone (5,7,8-THF), is a flavone, a naturally occurring flavonoid-like chemical compound which is found in Scutellaria baicalensis (Baikal skullcap). It has been found to act as an agonist of the TrkB, the main signaling receptor of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), and appears to possess roughly the same activity in this regard to that of the closely related but more well-known tropoflavin (7,8-DHF).
Alnetin
Alnetin is a flavone isolated from Lindera lucida.
hispidulin
Hispidulin is a naturally occurring flavone with potential antiepileptic activity in rats and gerbils. It is found in plants including Grindelia argentina, Arrabidaea chica, Saussurea involucrate, Crossostephium chinense, Artemisia, and Salvia.
hypolaetin
Hypolaetin is a flavone. It is the aglycone of hypolaetin 8-glucuronide, a compound found in the liverwort Marchantia berteroana. Hypolaetin 8-glucoside can be found in Sideritis leucantha.
dimefline
Dimefline is a respiratory stimulant.
Pectolinarigenin
Pectolinarigenin is a Cirsium isolate with anti-inflammatory activity and belongs to the flavones.
4',7-dihydroxyflavone
4′,7-Dihydroxyflavone is a flavone. It is found in Medicago truncatula in relation with the root nodulation symbiont Sinorhizobium meliloti or in seeds of Sophora viciifolia.
