Artamus fuscus

二名法 Artamus fuscusVieillot, 1817[2] 灰燕鵙（学名：Artamus fuscus）为燕鵙科燕鵙属的鸟类，俗名灰森燕。分布于印度（不包括較沙漠化的地區[3]）、尼泊爾、孟加拉国、斯里兰卡、缅甸、泰国、寮國、柬埔寨、馬來西亞、越南以及中国大陆的云南、广西、广东、海南等地[4]，甚至有紀錄表示灰燕鵙也可能分布於馬爾地夫一帶[5]，一般生活于以棕榈科为主的常绿阔叶林以及营巢于高大树干的洞穴或枝桠处。该物种的模式产地在孟加拉国[2]。 辨識特徵 全身大致呈灰色，其中腹部的羽色較淺且稍呈藕色；尾部稍尖，乍看之下有如燕子，因而得名（雌雄差異不大，目前也沒有亞種的區別）[3][6]。 以下是根據自印度採得的標本所做的測量[3]： 灰燕鵙（個體標本） 項目 測得資料 體長 19 cm 喙長 * ♀ 21 ～ 24 mm * ♂ 21 ～ 23 mm 翼長 * ♀ 129 ～ 138 mm * ♂ 130 ～ 139 mm 尾長 * ♀ 54 ～ 60 mm * ♂ 48 ～ 58 mm 跗長 16 ～ 19 mm 體重 37 ～ 42 g 参考文献 ^ BirdLife International.
