Bojko Borisov

Boyko Borissov is a Bulgarian politician, military officer, firefighter, and karateka. Born on 13 June 1959 in Bankya, he holds Bulgarian citizenship and speaks Bulgarian. His political affiliations have included the National Movement for Stability and Progress, the Bulgarian Communist Party, and Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria, as well as serving as an independent politician. He has held the position of Prime Minister of Bulgaria.

Borissov has also been involved in association football, playing as a forward for F.C. Vitosha Bistritsa. He follows the Eastern Orthodox religion. His birth name is Бойко Методиев Борисов, and he is known by several nicknames, including Баце, Буци, Буцифер, and Pumpkin.
