Caino (in ebraico קַיִן , Qáyin, che significa "acquisizione") è un personaggio biblico, figlio maggiore di Adamo ed Eva e fratello di Abele. Secondo la Genesi, è il primo uomo nato nella storia umana ed è inoltre il primo fratricida, in quanto uccise suo fratello (Genesi 4,8).
