==Uses and occurrence== Cuminaldehyde is responsible for the characteristic aroma of cumin seed. It has an intense aroma described as "spicy, cumin, green, herbal". Cuminaldehyde is a precursor to another commercially important fragrance, cyclamen aldehyde.
