Vegavis is a genus of extinct bird that lived in Antarctica during the Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous. The type species is Vegavis iaai, named in 2005 based on fossils from the López de Bertodano Formation. Two additional species, Vegavis geitononesos and Vegavis notopothousa, were named in 2026 based on additional material from the same formation. Vegavis potentially represents one of the earliest known crown group birds. Vegavis é um género de ave extinta que viveu durante o Cretáceo Superior (idade do Maastrichtiano) da Antártida, há 66-68 milhões de anos. Pertenceu ao clado dos Anseriformes.
