squat
A lower-body compound exercise where you squat and then stand back up, targeting the legs' quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes.

deadlift
The deadlift is a strength training exercise in which a weight is lifted off the ground to hip level and then returned to the floor. While traditionally done with a barbell, deadlifts can also be done with dumbbells, kettlebells, trap bars, or resistance bands. It is one of the three powerlifting movements along with the squat and bench press, as well as a quintessential lift in strongman. bench press
