Pietro Alessandro Gaspare Scarlatti (* 2. Mai 1660 auf Sizilien (entweder in Trapani oder Palermo); † 24. Er war der Vater von neun Söhnen, darunter die ebenfalls als Komponisten bekannt gewordenen Domenico Scarlatti und Pietro Filippo Scarlatti.
