In der Mathematik werden lineare Abbildungen zwischen normierten Vektorräumen als beschränkte (lineare) Operatoren bezeichnet, wenn ihre Operatornorm endlich ist. Lineare Operatoren sind genau dann beschränkt, wenn sie stetig sind, weshalb beschränkte lineare Operatoren oft als stetige (lineare) Operatoren bezeichnet werden.
