Nerolidol, also known as peruviol and penetrol, is a naturally occurring sesquiterpene alcohol. A colorless liquid, it is found in the essential oils of many types of plants and flowers. Nerolidyl derivatives include nerolidyl diphosphate and the fragrance nerolidyl acetate.
