Organizational culture is the set of shared norms, values, and behaviors in organizations that reflect an organization's core values and strategic direction. This concept is also referred to as business culture, corporate culture or company culture. The term corporate culture emerged in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was initially used by managers, sociologists, and organizational theorists during the 1980s.
