Die Validamycine sind eine Gruppe von Aminoglykosid-Antibiotika. Sie werden aus var. limoneus gewonnen und werden im japanischen Reisanbau als Fungizide eingesetzt. Glc = D-Glucopyranosyl (siehe Glycosidische Bindung) Die Validamycine wirken durch Hemmung der Trehalase und der Inosit-Biosynthese.
