Der Pottwal (Physeter macrocephalus, Syn.: Physeter catodon) ist ein in allen Ozeanen verbreiteter Wal aus der Unterordnung der Zahnwale (Odontoceti). Unter den Zahnwalen ist er der einzige Großwal.
