羅勒(學名:Ocimum basilicum),是一類可用於烹调的香草,大多數是一年生植物,一些是多年生植物,包括許多栽培品種,如和泰國羅勒(Ocimum basilicum var. thyrsiflora,台灣因紫色莖稱之為紅骨九層塔)。在香港及中國廣東潮汕地區稱為「金不换」、「鱼生菜」,皖北稱為「香花子」,中國北方部份地區又稱之為「蘭香」。義大利料理製作青醬的品種為甜羅勒,口感會較不青澀,氣味也較淡。 5000年前,印度人就开始培育罗勒。罗勒现在是意大利料理和南亚料理的重要原料。叶子有种强烈的类似茴香的气味,可以给菜增香,如在三杯鸡或越南粉做好后撒上罗勒叶,或烤、炸时也可加入罗勒叶。
