It is inexpensive and often sold from streetside stands and on buses by vendors carrying a large basket with the warm chipa wrapped in a cloth.

تشيبا هي عبارة عن لفائف صغيرة مخبوزة بنكهة الجبن، وهي وجبة خفيفة وفطور شعبي في الباراغواي وشمال الأرجنتين. وصفة التشيبا موجودة من القرن التاسع عشر وتعود جذورها إلى الشعب الغواراني أحد الشعوب الأصلية في أمريكا الجنوبية. وهو طبق غير مكلف ويباع عادةً على قوارع الطرق وكذلك في الحافلات بواسطة بائعين يحملون سلال كبيرة مع لفائف التشيبا الدافئة والملفوفة بقطعة قماش. الأسم الأصلي للطبق يعود للغة الغوارانية «تشيبا» (chipa). وقد يطلق على القطعة الصغيرة من التشيبا اسم «تشيبيتا» (chipita). عادة ما يستخدم في مدينة سانتا كروز دي لا سييرا البوليفية اسم «كونيبيه» (cuñapé). في بعض أجزاء الأرجنتين يطلق عليها اسم «تشيبا» مع وجود التشكيل (chipá) أما بالنسبة للفائف الصغيرة فيطلق عليها اسم «تشيباسيتو» (chipacito).
